Dr.
Rene' McEldowney is an Associate Professor and past Director
of the undergraduate Health Administration Internship
program. She holds a PhD from Virginia Tech University
and completed post-doctorate work at Oxford University.
After an eight year career in the healthcare field she
joined the faculty at Auburn University in 1993. She
has published numerous articles and presented papers
at a number of international and regional meetings. Dr.
McEldowney is an award winning teacher and researcher
who has been an invited lecturer internationally in Great
Britain, The Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. Research
interests include health care policy, comparative health
care systems, and health care economics.
