Program Design - Distance
Learning Technologies
Prior
to starting the program, students receive video iPods preloaded
with business basics such as accounting, economics, marketing,
and finance. The business foundations material, self-taught
and self-tested, provides a basic level of background knowledge
to help these students move into the degree program.
The distance component of the curriculum is delivered
on interactive DVD. Each DVD contains full-motion video lectures,
as well as supplementary print, photo and slide materials, test and review
questions and internet links. |

Underpinning this electronic delivery is EMBANET, a tried and tested on-line
learning platform. Each class has a unique conference site. Through
EMBANET, students can work with team members on group assignments, ask questions
and hold discussions with their professors and classmates, submit homework,
download course materials and stay in touch with the program. |
