Directions

 

Atlanta to Auburn (110 miles):

  1. Take I-85 South towards Montgomery.
  2. Take the Auburn exit (exit 51).  At the end of the ramp, bear RIGHT onto AL-147/College Street.
  3. After you turn onto AL-147/College Street, you will travel through three traffic lights.  The fourth light will be Donahue Drive (there is a Blooming Colors Nursery on the right side of the street).
  4. Take a LEFT onto Donahue Drive.
  5. After you turn onto Donahue Drive, you will travel through three traffic lights and a stop sign.  The fourth light will be Dormitory Drive.
  6. Take a RIGHT onto Dormitory Drive.  Travel about 100 yards.
  7. Take a LEFT into the Lowder Business Building parking lot.

Birmingham to Auburn (120 miles)

On US Highway 280 East

  1. From Birmingham, take US Highway 280 East approximately 110 miles.
  2. Take a RIGHT off US-280E onto AL-147 (there will be a Conoco Service Station at the intersection).
  3. Stay on AL-147 for 4.8 miles.  It is a straight shot to Auburn where AL-147 will turn into College Street.
  4. After crossing the railroad tracks, you will enter downtown Auburn.
  5. The light following the tracks will be at Glenn Avenue.  Go through the intersection.
  6. The next intersection will be Magnolia Avenue (Toomer's Corner)
  7. Take a RIGHT onto Magnolia Avenue.
  8. The next light will be Donahue Drive (The Lowder Business Building will be on your left).
  9. Take a LEFT on Donahue Drive.
  10. The next light is Dormitory Drive.
  11. Take a LEFT on Dormitory Drive.  Travel about 100 yards.
  12. Take a LEFT into the Lowder Business Building parking lot.

On Interstate 65 South

  1. Take I-65 South towards Montgomery.
  2. In Montgomery, take I-85 North towards Atlanta.
  3. Take the Auburn exit (exit 51).  At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT onto AL-147/College Street.
  4. After you turn onto AL-147/College Street, you will travel through four traffic lights.  The fifth light will be Donahue Drive (there is a Blooming Colors Nursery on the right side of the street).
  5. Take a LEFT onto Donahue Drive.

Montgomery to Auburn (50 miles)

  • Take I-85 North towards Atlanta.
  • Take the Auburn exit (exit 51).  At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT onto AL-147/College Street.
